Barcelona Photo - Casa Batlló
Photo with Casa Batlló background. In the foreground the bench with trencadís and the typical modernist streetlights of the Paseo de Gracia.
Completed in 1906 by the then municipal architect Peter Falqués Urpí (1850-1916) are among his best known works, but sometimes also have been attributed to modernist architect Antoni Gaudí. These thirty-two banks built with the classic "mosaic" of Catalan modernism and subject banks are lampposts, forming a single piece, the lights are wrought iron with the characteristic coup de fouet. One of the best souvenirs from Barcelona.
